Conference: Education and Change in Qatar and the Arab World

The Center for International and Regional Studies, SFS-Qatar and the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies, Georgetown University, co-sponsored this two-day conference in Qatar held April 21-22, 2007.
Cultural Event: American Arts Festival

The American Arts Festival was designed to provide an opportunity for Qatar, and the region, to experience and engage with different aspects of American culture through its arts. The festival focused on three areas: poetry, photography and jazz.
