The 2008-2009 Annual Report details all the activities and research initiatives conducted by CIRS over the past academic year. Some of the research highlights include features on the inaugural Post-Doctoral and Senior Fellows, the Migrant Labor in the Gulf working group, and the forthcoming release of Innovation in Islam: Traditions and Contributions, edited by Mehran Kamrava and published by University of California Press. Other highlights include an exciting Public Affairs Program and lectures by Hanan Ashrawi, Nabih Berri, and Seyyed Hossein Nasr.
CIRS published its 2007-2008 Annual Report documenting all its activities and achievements over the past academic year. The Report includes summaries and full listings of all conferences, events, publications, and research initiatives undertaken as part of CIRS efforts to promote cross-cultural understanding and dialogue, encourage in-depth scholarship, and provide the forum for thought-provoking public lectures and events.
